Why I wanna do this?

As you have seen this graph, I have thought about my life since I was 20 years old when I was in a military service.

First, I had a question like..how can I be happy? as everyone has. But in my case, it was more serious because I have meditated since 17 years old even I didn't do it often.

So, the answer I found was do something good for other people. But I also wanted to have 'stable life' which requires stable job like working in a big company or government office. However, the book - 'Rich dad, Poor dad (Robert T. Kiyosaki)' said being a businessman is the only way to have permanent stable life. It moved me to choose management as a double major.

I had to tried to find link between 'Money' and 'valuable life' to make myself understand life style I found. The link I found was 'you can help more people if you have more money which is also power in society'.

But I didn't have any idea what kind of business I would do. I thought the business also should have good meaning. 2 years later, I finally found it in Sweden when I was an exchange student. The education system was so different but I had thought Korean education system can't be changed much. It was not true. Education system is changeable, and it should be changed. It influences so much for whole society.

Web is good route to spread out my idea, and I love the web's will - share and open- by Sir Tim Berners Lee. So I decided to somehow mix web and education. But still I didn't have specific idea how to mix it even though I made a dream to establish 'New, Alternative' school by money I will earn from my business. What kind of Alternative education?

Anyway, I needed to study programming even I almost gradated University to make my rough idea come true. Fortunately, I could study and I got an internship in Finland as a programmer to develop educational game for Helsinki area teens who doesn't like to eat school lunch.

This chance helps me to develop what I can do for world further.

In addition, I read a book about '3rd world' where enormous number of people dying lack of 'SUPPLIED' food and lack of concern by people who has right to vote in advanced countries. At least I realize that there are a few countries which really help them instead of dealing with advanced countries' their own benefit.

So, changing normal people's general attitude, which also influences their election to pick what kind of politician who will decide aid, would be efficient way to make world better place.

I would like to start this blog to share some idea for saving Earth.

Does it sound fun..? :)

Yes, I have a great dream, but seriously, our planet needs a big step to live together including human being and all kinds of life.

Even though I have watched only some documentary movies like Earth(produced by BBC), and read Korean translated book from 'Wie kommt der Hunger in die Welt?', ('Why the half of the world is hunger' in English)but I got a big shock about what is going on in 3rd world..

These problems are not the only priority to solve now, but I open mind and start to develop something we can do for it.

My name is Jaeseong Park from South Korea, and now I am working in Laurea Redlabs as an intern in Finland. My task is for developing educational game to change the attitude of Finnish teens when they have a school lunch.

I am not a expert as you read my short introduction. But I wanna 'SHARE' the ideas for saving earth within programming, especially educational games.
